WaPo Article Cited by Numerous Blogs

The Washing Post article noted below on rising health care costs and wage workers was linked to by numerous blogs, such as the independent, nonprofit MotherJones Blog. The post quoted a paragraph of the original article which discussed the percentage increase (27.4 to 30.2) in benefit costs of a worker’s wage. The post doesn’t include a ton of commentary, but commends WaPo on the article and includes many comments. Though one might expect the comments to be for the Democratic universal health care proposals, and many are, some posts declare that health insurance is not a right and needs to be worked for. A good example of how blogs shorten news reports, (the original article was on two internet pages), and how interactive they are, as the comments appear as almost part of the post.
